AMANDA KEMMER

BBA senior.  Avid Puppy Lover.  Dessert Devourer.  Detroit International Half Marathon Runner.
UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN, ANN ARBOR
Hey there!

My name is Amanda Kemmer and I am graduating senior in the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan also pursuing a Minor in Writing.  I love to laugh, be with friends and family, go running, volunteer, and work with children.  On campus, I am a member of a professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, as well as a member of the Marketing Club.

Post college, I will be working as a financial analyst at Ally Financial in Detroit, MI. I am extremely excited to start this next chapter of my life, although I am currently feeling quite nostalgic about my time at UofM.

As I reflect on my time in college, I can't help but notice certain themes that have guided a lot of the project work I have done, as well as which classes I have decided to take. Gratitude was something that guided my gateway Minor in Writing course, as my repurposing project was centered around reflecting on passages I wrote the prior year about things I was grateful for. Goals and resolutions are what guided my capstone course experience, as I pursued secondary and observational research to provide an educational resource for underclassmen.

The Writing 220 and Capstone tabs show the work completed for each of these projects. I truly hope that you find these of use, as I believe that having a healthy, balanced lifestyle is extremely beneficial. Especially in college. Being grateful and setting realistic goals is extremely invaluable, and I've found that taking a step back to remind yourself how lucky you truly are is very important. My hope is that by looking through my various project work you will be left with this same thought.
